The Mzansi Youth Choir is widely regarded as the best show choir in South Africa.
Mzansi Youth Choir was founded in 2003 with a dream to use the power of music to bring hope, love, and happiness to the nation.
From humble beginnings in Soweto we began our journey and have captured the hearts of South Africans one performance at a time.
Our voices have since echoed across the globe with many international performances that have all received a roaring standing ovation.
We do not just sing songs. We are the songs that we sing. We are the Mzansi Youth Choir!

Nightbirde ft Mzansi Youth Choir
As the Mzansi Youth Choir, we were deeply moved by Nightbirde’s original song “It’s OK,” which Jane performed on AGT, sharing her inspiring yet heartbreaking cancer journey. After her passing, we honored her by covering the song, first in our own rendition and later on AGT’s stage—the same place where Jane touched the world.
Though she never saw our performance, her spirit lived on. When her team invited us to collaborate on her new single, “Still Got Dreams,” we jumped at the chance. This powerful anthem, blending our voices with hers, fulfills a dream Jane had—a union of two forces that inspire hope. We’re proud to be part of this beautiful tribute, bringing encouragement to all who hear it.
